When God calls us to a new task or opportunity,

1 John 4:4-6
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them,
because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world,
and the world listens to them. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
Isaiah 13 vs 3-5
I have summoned my holy ones;
I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath-
those who rejoice in my triumph.
Listen, a noise on the mountains,
like that of a great multitude!
Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms,
like nations massing together!
The Lord Almighty is mustering an army for war.
They come from faraway lands,
from the ends of the heavens-
the Lord and the weapons of his wrath-
to destroy the whole country.
Deuteronomy 20 vs 1-4
"When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and
chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid
of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt,
will be with you. When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall
come forward and address the army. He shall say: " Hear, O Israel today you
are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be
terrified or give way to panic before them. For the Lord your God is the one who
goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory."
Ephesians 6 vs 10-19
The armor of God - because of being engaged in spiritual battle ( satan's attempts to
destroy our sons and the core of family ) and are subject to satan's attacks it is imperative
that we 'stand firm' even in the midst of attack.
Deuteronomy 31-8
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
